Shopping List:

  • K&M Peppers & Onions
  • Bratwurst
  • Pretzel Rolls
  • K&M Obatzda
  • Sauerkraut
  • K&M German Potato Salad

Pantry Items:

  • Beer (Optional)
  • Vegetable Oil

1) Heat 2 Tablespoons oil in a large cast iron or heavy bottomed pan.

2) Sear peppers and onions on medium high for about 4 minutes, stirring often. Add the Brats and sear for 3 minutes per side, using tongs to flip.

Chef’s Tip: searing adds tons of flavor - don’t skip this step!

3) Reduce temperature to low, then pour ½ cup of beer or water into the pan and simmer for 10 minutes until all liquid has cooked off.

4) We recommend serving Brats inside the pretzel rolls spread with Obatzda and topped with peppers, onions, and Sauerkraut with the German potato salad on the side. Enjoy!
